Manton Heights Care Centre are recruiting a Dementia Ambassador to lead the team in Dementia Care. The role will entail to take a lead for quality and improvement in Dementia care, lead in identifying and addressing health and social care need of residents, ensuring independence and choice and applying a biopsychosocial method to care planning. Act as the lead advocate for the absolute best in care for all residents, at any location across the designated centre in line with the company dementia strategy Act as ambassador for the interface between the care centre, relatives, perspective and interested new customers in regards the showcasing of the in-service care delivery for residents with dementia Work closely with the Head of Dementia Care and Development (HoD) in the delivery, audit and modifications of the group dementia strategy undertaking monthly supervision with the Head of Department and receiving resilience mentorship. The ideal candidate will; NVQ Level 4 required Extensive Dementia experience and extended Dementia qualifications are essential. At least two years experience in long term care for older people, preferably experience caring for individuals with dementia in a care home / nursing home. At least one year of supervisory and management experience Excellent communication (written and verbal) and clinical skills Passionate and keen to develop new skills Ability to organise efficiently and prioritise workloads whilst under pressure If you feel you have the requirements to meet this role and want to embrace the improvements in Dementia care, then apply today
