Digital Marketing Manager Southampton Permanent £35-£40K DOE plus bonus and benefits Our client TentBox is a young and exciting company, with a growing team. We re searching for a talented digital marketeer, with a focus on E-commerce expertise for high-ticket items. As the UK s market leading car rooftop tent provider, our client is looking to take the business to the next level by bringing digital marketing in-house. Your role will be to utilise their digital channels to develop a highly converting digital shop front with a focus on paid ads, social, SEO, CRO, UX and email, with a significant paid ad budget. You will work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing, to continue to be the most revered marketing operators in this growing sector. We are looking for someone to bring ideas and passion, as well as having sound technical digital skills to come on this journey with us. The right candidate will be responsible for helping build, implement and continuously develop an internal digital marketing strategy to obtain the best ROI for our budget. Working with the marketing team, you will have a great deal of freedom to express yourself and be given an opportunity to deliver on your ideas and creativity. Person Requirements: Experience of building and developing high quality digital marketing, you will need to be doing as opposed to briefing an agency. Experience of working with E-commerce websites Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads & Meta Ads with an ability to analyse and improve where required Good understanding of SEO planning, strategy and implementation into a WordPress environment Ability to analyse data for reporting to Heads of & find opportunities for performance improvement An understanding of tools like hotjar, for website optimisation A self starter and can do attitude Attention to detail Ideally you will want to develop and stretch yourself Digital Marketing Manager, main role objectives: Assisting with the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies Creating digital campaigns, including social media advertising, email marketing, display ads, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC). Working with the marketing team to build and maintain a brand s presence across multiple social media channels Creating, executing and monitoring marketing campaign budgets Delivering on digital marketing improvements to ensure effective use of our budget Measuring key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, service quotas, bounce rate and ad spend return on investment Coordinating with the marketing team to identify innovative growth strategies Preparing reports on the performance of marketing campaigns Using advanced analytics software to identify customer touchpoints and assess end-to-end customer experience across diverse digital channels. Assist the development of the website, using your skills to ensure the website meets the strategic goals of the business. Reviewing website content and navigation effectiveness, working to identify and make improvements to drive engagement and enhance customer journeys. Create high quality, converting landing pages for campaigns Working with the Marketing team to maintain a consistent tone of voice, brand look and feel of all digital content. Identifying opportunities to create new content or to improve content and navigation that will drive increased engagement. Monitoring key competitor and market activity and making recommendations for improvement where necessary. Finally, we want you to bring ideas. Ideas that you think will make us better. Qualification requirements: At least 2 years experience in a digital marketing role In depth experience of PPC In-depth knowledge of HTML and CSS Working experience with website analytics, social media platforms and digital advertising best practices is essential Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies Strong analytical thinking skills Rewards: Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Monday-Friday 9-5pm.
