Your new companyWiltshire Council are looking for Experienced Occupational Therapists to join their Reablement Teams based in Salisbury and Chippenham (and their surrounding areas). The Reablement Service is led by Occupational Therapy Managers and benefits from support from their principal occupational therapist. The occupational therapy role is highly valued and the team establishment includes newly qualified occupational therapists, assistants, occupational therapy apprentices. The service works with Bournemouth University and UWE to support students' training.Your new roleWiltshire Reablement offers Occupational Therapists the unique opportunity to work proactively with customers in their own homes, utilising their experience to achieve a positive impact upon a customer's life. Wiltshire Reablement is fortunate to have its own inhouse provider service that works in partnership with the Reablement therapists to provide bespoke Reablement support.You will support people in a mixed caseload who are returning from Hospital or experiencing a change in their abilities in the community with the autonomy to manage their own time and schedule.What you'll need to succeedYou must hold a professional qualification in Occupational Therapy, be registered with HCPC and have a full UK drivers licence. Show evidence of working with adults in either health or social care for 2-3 years post-qualification. Understanding of Mental Capacity Act and how to undertake assessments related to this.
