The school are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their small specialist class that is made up of 10 pupils in Key Stage 1who have speech, language and communication difficulties. SEN Teaching Assistant Key Stage 1 Nurture Class Understanding of social and emotional barriers to learning Looked after Children Long Term position for full academic year. This position will be working alongside a class teacher and two other qualified teaching assistants, where you will be breaking down set classwork into manageable sections and constantly making sure pupils fully understand the task in hand. The school have highlighted that due to these pupils requirements, they are seeking an individual who can constantly encourage and motivate them, meaning you must have an upbeat and nurturing approach. Simplifying set classwork and breaking it into manageable sections. Constantly making sure pupils fully understand the lesson objective. Must have a nurturing and encouraging approach at all times.
